Submissions

The International Economic Review, a peer reviewed journal, welcomes submissions for consideration by the Editorial Board.

Only electronic submissions will be accepted. You can submit your paper at:

Once you have submitted your paper, you must pay a submission fee of $150. Click here to submit an Online Payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. You can also fax us your name, the title page of your manuscript, the amount you should be charged, and your credit card information to 215-573-2072.  The manuscript cannot be reviewed until the fee has been received. Authors who wish to pay the submission fee in yen should send a message to the Japan Office by email:   ier@iser.osaka-u.ac.jp. A manuscript submitted to the Review should not be under consideration at another journal. It should conform to the style guidelines of the Review, copies of which are available from either office on request. The manuscript must be single sided,double spaced, and not more than 50 pages in length. Authors will be required to assign copyright in their paper to the Economics Department of the University of Pennsylvania and the Osaka University Institute of Social and Economic Research Association. Copyright assignment is a condition of publication and papers will not be passed to the publisher for production unless copyright has been assigned. (Papers subject to government or Crown copyright are exempt from this requirement). To assist authors an appropriate copyright assignment form will be supplied from the editorial office.
