Wayne Gao received his Ph.D. from Yale University in 2019. He is an econometrician who also has strong research in microeconomic theory. He has worked, for instance, on the identification of panel multinomial choice models which play an important role in industrial organization.

Joachim Hubmer also received his Ph.D. from Yale University. He is a quantitative macroeconomist who seeks to understand the forces that shape the distribution of income, consumption, and wealth in the economy, and how these distributions in turn impact macroeconomic performance.
