Rohit Lamba is an assistant professor of economics at Pennsylvania State University, where he is on leave to spend the academic year of 2018-19 at the University of Pennsylvania. He works in the area of microeconomics. His current research focuses on dynamic contracts, dynamic choice, treasury auctions and privacy. He received a B.A. in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College Delhi, M.A. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, and PhD in economics from Princeton University. He spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge, and has been an economist at the Office of the Chief Economic Adviser of India. He hails from the Himalayan state of Jammu and Kashmir in India. When not doing research he loves to read poetry, play squash and climb mountains.
