Gizem Saka

Senior Lecturer

Professor Saka joined Penn in 2012. Her interests are in Behavioral Economics (why people make mistakes in judgment) and Art Markets (how do we decide how much to pay for art). She teaches Introduction to Economics to the freshman class at Wharton, and Art and Economics in the Economics Department. She received the Howard and Abby Milstein Teaching Award, and the Ernest Liu Family Teaching Award while at Cornell University, where she completed her PhD in economics in 2007.
