Department of Economics

Prior to joining the Economics Department in 2010, Professor Pai got his PhD in Managerial Economics & Strategy at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. During his PhD, he had research stints at Google and Microsoft Research researching internet monetization. Before his PhD, he studied computer science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His research interests include market design, mechanism design/auction theory and statistical decision theory.
